It's been such a nice morning. We put Solomon to bed a little early last night as I'm trying to get him to sleep a little longer. He woke up a little too early this morning, so after failing to get him to go back to sleep, Alex went in his room and tried to lull him as well. It didn't work, so we traded off sleep time and take care of Solomon time for the next few hours. It was so nice that we were able to do that so I don't feel like a zombie. Alex is a fantastic daddy or "papa" as he likes to be called. He calls his dad "papa" to this day. I always think of Papa Smurf from my childhood so I like the title.
Little Solomon is just having one of those mornings where he is so cute I could just eat him up. Alex decided to work from home today so we can hang out. It is nice.
Last night we watched "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry". It was pretty funny actually and had a good message in the end. At first I thought it was going to be one gay joke after another, but it was good and funny. We watched the amazing KU game after that. It was a little scary b/c we went into overtime, but overtime is so fun when we win. Plus, Brandon Rush almost made a last minute shot from the other end of the court which would have prevented overtime. It would have been awesome.
Little Solomon is sacked out for now.

Kelly - If I "cluster feed" Natalie in the evening...every 2 hours starting at around 5 and play the white noise (hairdryer) she sleeps from 11-6/7 without waking up....just a thought. You have to play it where they can hear it, not super soft. If you want I have the white noise on my computer that you can burn to a CD...just let me know and I will e-mail it to you! That is what we did and we just loop it all night. I know that Natalie wakes up still at night, but she puts herself back to sleep without nursing...NICE!! Send me an e-mail at home if you want it..amy.walenta@cox.net.
Commenting on the "he's so cute i could eat him up" - I know what you mean. I recently found a Woody Guthrie song where he sings, "Giggle giggle, giggle; jiggle jiggle jiggle, little sack of sugar I could eat you up". So now I call Izzy my little sack of sugar, especially when she wears her white sleep sack. I know exactly what you mean. :)
