One of my fav songs says it all... "Oh What a Night!" Last night was truely awesome for me. Obama's speech was outstanding and he really knows how to deliver a speech. Most of the press surrounding Barack Obama's win seems to be focussed around the fact that he's the first African American president of the U.S. That is amazing, but I also think the enthusiasm he and obviously the people running his campaign were able to garner from people all over the country and overseas is amazing. We will soon have an incredible person in office. Now the hard work really begins for Barack Obama.

Girl, I also am so excited. Last night was so amazing in so many ways. Oh, what a night is right! BTW, the CEO of Microsoft commented on my last blog. Weird, right? It makes me a little suspicious...

Ditto to it all - as usual. I agree with you about his mention always being coupled with the fact that he's black. Yes, I know we need to celebrate that, but I just hope that one day he's just "President" and not our "African American President". I'm so sick of race being an issue and yet I know it has to be. What a GREAT night! When I saw Ohio go blue, my hopes were very high!
